Your Web Server Is Running!

Congratulations! Your Quarterdeck WebSTAR web server is running. You can modify this page to create your own custom home page.

If you are new to HAHTsite, we suggest you go through the HAHTintro project. It's located in the Samples\HAHTintro subdirectory where you installed HAHTsite. This project will give you a better understanding of how to use HAHTsite. If you are already familiar with HAHTsite, you are ready to publish your project.

Currently, this page is your default home page. You will be able to browse this page by simply typing in its URL:

http://hostname.com/

or

http://hostname.com/index.htm

Substitute your registered hostname or IP address for hostname.com in this URL.

Administering WebSTAR

You can change your WebSTAR configuration by running the WebSTAR Control Center.

Helpful Hint: You may find it useful when publishing multiple HAHTsite projects to be able to browse your web server's document directory. The default WebSTAR configuration will not display directory listings. To enable directory browsing:

1. Start the WebSTAR Control Center
2. Double click on the HAHT Demonstration Development System entry in the Document Tree Control Panel
3. Click on the Dir. List tab
4. Check the "Enable directory listing if a home page does not exist" checkbox

Once you enable browsing, you can delete this index page or rename the page to something else like index2.htm. This will allow you to get a listing of all the projects you publish.
